The background and motivation of increasing hypersonic flight test frequency in the United States is analyzed.Based on hypersonic related programs,planning,and budget documents of the department of defense,the defense advanced research program agency(DARPA),and the armed services,hypersonic flight test plans and the specific arrangements in the next few years for both the current major advanced research projects and weapon developing projects are collated and sorted.Then,taking the US Army as an example,the paper summarizes the specific measures it has taken to support the future high frequency flight test program,including the application of the“test and training integratioin”mode,the establishment of an inter-service and inter-agency joint test team,and the adoption of the“rotational”test team mode.
