摘要
茶具是茶文化中出现频率最高、与人类接触最密切的茶元素之一,因此,茶具的英译质量直接影响茶文化的推广和交流。分析了茶具的发展以及国内茶具英译的现状,基于功能主义翻译目的论,阐述了茶具的英译策略,提出了意义对等、直译法、多元翻译法等茶具英译的具体实现方法,最后分析了茶具英译中尚存的问题并提出相应的建议,以期推动中国茶文化的传播。
As one of the most frequent elements in tea culture,tea wares make the most touch with human beings.Therefore,the quality of translating for tea wares will inevitably have an impact on the promotion and communication of the Chinese tea culture.The author makes an analysis on the development of tea wares as well as the present domestic translating situation of tea wares.Based on the Functionalist Skopos Theory,this paper discusses proper translating strategies of tea wares,which are sense equivalence,literal translation and multiple translating skills and so on.Last but not least,the author analyzes existing problems in tea-ware translating and provides corresponding opinions in the hope of a worldwide promotion of Chinese tea culture.
