宁夏佛教碑刻文献述考

Textual Research on Buddhist Inscriptions in Ningxia

宁夏回族自治区境内存留的佛教碑刻是研究历史文化的一类重要资料,有些碑石虽已亡佚,但碑记或保存在古人文集,或在明、清、民国时期所修的地方志,或在今人的抄件中,等等。学界已经对相关佛教碑作了整理和研究,但其中还存有一些问题需要进一步考辨。经过对宁夏佛教碑(包括碑石已佚但碑记流传)的统计分析,在地域上,宁夏佛教碑主要分布在北武当庙寿佛寺、银川海宝寺、牛首山寺庙群、香山香岩寺、须弥山圆光寺等几处佛教寺院或遗址;在时间上,宁夏佛教碑以明、清两代的碑为主;在文字书写上,宁夏现存的佛教碑记全以汉字书写,仅有须弥山圆光寺的《敕赐禅林碑》以兰札体梵文装饰碑首。

The Buddhist inscriptions remaining in Ningxia are some kinds of important data for historical and cultural research.Although some of them were lost,they still had been collected in ancient anthologies,local chronicles in the Ming Dynasty,the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of emChina.They also remain in modern copies and so on.Scholars have done relevant collation and research on these Buddhist inscriptions,but there are still some questions needing further more research.After incomplete statistics on the Buddhist inscriptions in Ningxia(including the lost),geographically,they are mainly distributed in the Shoufo Temple of the Northern Wudang Miao,the Haibao Temple of Yinchuan,the temples of Niushou Moutain,the Xiangyan Temple of Xiang Mountain and the Yuanguang Temple of Xumi Mountain;Timely,the Buddhist inscriptions in Ningxia have been built mainly in the Ming and the Qing Dynasties;in writing,the Buddhist inscriptions in Ningxia are all written in Chinese except the stele in the Yuanguang Temple of Xumi Moutain with a Sanskrit decorated stele head.
