Dynamic Development of Local and National Standards of Translations for Public Signs

随着社会的发展和对外交流的需要,公示语翻译标准需要不断丰富、发展。分析了公示语翻译地方标准与国家标准存在的问题。建议通过修订、统一、区域化和多模态化来促进公示语翻译国家标准《公共服务领域汉英译写规范》的动态发展与实施。

With the development of society and the needs of foreign exchanges, the translation standards of public signs need to be enriched and developed. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the local and national standards of translations for public signs. It is suggested to promote the dynamic development and implementation of Guidelines for the Use of English in Public Areas through revision, unification, regionalization and multimodality.
