Objective To observe the effect of time-based health management model in patients with hypertension complicated with diabetes. Methods Ninety-two patients with hypertension complicated with diabetes admitted to this hospital from January to December 2018 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into the experimental group and the control group with 46 cases each according to random number table method. The control group received conventional health management intervention, and the experimental group received timing theory based health management intervention.Health behavior compliance, disease control effect and quality of life were compared between the two groups after intervention. Results At 6 months and 12 months after intervention, the scores of health behavior compliance and quality of life in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the effect of disease control was significantly better than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The intervention of health management model based on timing theory on patients with hypertension complicated with diabetes mellitus can significantly improve the compliance degree of health behavior and the effect of disease control, and obtain a good quality of life.
