Research on Marxist Theory on Cultural Morphology:An Organic Unity of Belief and Practicality

马克思认为,文化本身是信念活动与实践活动相统一的一种实践信念形态。因全部社会生活本质上是物质生产活动的,文化形态的信念力量及其实践形式都是物质生产的自然产物,即是物质生产活动的主客观关系的一种折射,故文化形态具有信念性和实践性有机统一的根本属性。信念活动与实践活动的辩证关联机制(规律)决定着文化形态的运行和发展,在此基本机制的作用下,基于多样化地面对世界的一般文化形态的逐步形成是文化形态发展的必然趋势。

According to Karl Marx,culture proper is a kind of practical belief morphology that unifies belief activities and practical activities.As the entire social life is material productive activity in nature,both the power of belief in cultural morphology and its practical form are the natural products of material production,i.e.,a reflection of the subjective-objective relationship in material productive activities.Thus,cultural morphology has the fundamental attribute of organically unifying belief and practicality.The dialectical correlative mechanism(rule)of belief activity and practical activity determines the operation and development of cultural morphology.Under the influence of this basic mechanism,the inevitable tendency of cultural morphological development is the gradual formation of diversity-based general cultural morphology that is open to the world.
