Element and Relationship Reflection on the Key lssues in the Practice of Contemporary Urban Design

城市设计是通过整体地研究和组织不同城市要素之间的空间关系来实现其价值的。文章梳理了城市设计涉及的要素及其发展中的空间关系组织方式,提出了“秩序”和“效能”是决定空间关系的关键,结合当代城市设计实践案例,详细分析了组织要素的逻辑既要考虑建构整体和单元两个层次的空间秩序,也要通过要素组织或重构关系以提升城市整体效能。

The urban design embodies its value through studying and organizing spatial relationships between different elements in cities.This paper sorts out the elements and the organization of spatial relationships in urban design while proposing that"order and performance"as the key determinant of the spatial relationship.Through studying the practice of contemporary urban design,the paper also analyses the logic of organizing elements—it should not only consider the construction of spatial order lying in the general scale and unit scale of the cities,but also improve the overall performance of the city through organizing the elements or reconstructing their relationships.
