Change,Unchanged,Easiness Chi-Kwan Chen’s plans for Several University Campuses

在分析了陈其宽东海与后东海的重要作品后,文章刻意将陈其宽几所大学校园规划另列篇章讨论,按时间顺序有:中央大学(1968年)、交通大学(1976年)、中央警察大学(1977年)、中山大学(1980年)与侨生大学(1984年)等五座大学的规划设计,其中有完整实现的,如中央警察大学与侨生大学,也有局部实现的,如中央大学,也有胎死腹中的,如交通大学与中山大学。文章以中央警察大学与侨生大学为讨论核心,并旁及其他计划案。针对陈其宽的校园规划做一全面性的讨论是非常有趣的一个议题,因为对陈其宽来说,布局比描绘建筑物的细节更重要。因此,这种更能掌控的校园"乌托邦"一直是他借题发挥之处,"景观"、"空"或"留白"、"游"、"步移景异"等设计核心观念都可以在校园空间进行适当的发挥。在晚年他更仔细地推敲来自易经的儒、道哲学,也在其中找到与他作品的关联,尤其是他拜服的道家哲学,似乎可以为他一生的创作作脚注。

After analyzing Chi-Kwan Chen’s important works in the Tunghai University period and the post-Tunghai University period,we deliberately put Chi-Kwan Chen’s campus plans in a separate chapter for discussion and in chronological order—Central University(1968),Chiao Tung University(1976),Central Police University(1977),Sun Yat-sen University(1980),and National University Preparatory School for Overseas Chinese Students(1 984).Among them,some were fully realized,such as the Central Police University and Overseas Chinese University,some were partially realized such as the Central University,while others could not be realized such as Chiao Tung University and Sun Yat-sen University.This article focuses on the Central Police University and Overseas Chinese University as the core for discussion,along with other projects.
