On the Characteristics of Ancient Chinese Philosophy from the Perspective of Humanism

An important feature of ancient Chinese philosophy is that it always focuses on human beings for pioneering research.Both the exploration of ontological existence and the discussion of moral essence proceed from the existence of man himself and return to man himself.When broadening man’s vision and exploring his spiritual essence,ancient Chinese philosophy is constantly rediscovering man.Its overall theoretical system features the concept of human-centered wholeness.The whole of Heaven and man,the whole of form and spirit,the whole of human body system and the whole of human cognition constitute the foundation of landing and development of ancient Chinese philosophy.To realize the ideal personality,which is the core concern of ancient Chinese philosophy,the technical route lies in the inner pursuit of the sublimation of spiritual realm of life which also starts from human himself.
