Exploring the Historical Relics of Wu Zixu in Folk Local Records

伍子胥历史遗迹是古代民众怀念伍子胥的物化形态,是对伍子胥信仰的依托。伍子胥崇祀是民众对江南水患的恐惧、伍子胥忠孝人格的敬仰等综合因素的使然。文章以时代先后为序,呈现先秦至清代伍子胥历史遗迹的分布状况,并试图探讨伍子胥历史遗迹中浸润的古人崇尚英雄、敬仰忠孝等方面的中华传统文化精神内涵。

The historical sites of Wu Zixu are the materialized form of ancient people’s commemoration of Wu Zixu and the support of people’s belief in Wu Zixu.The worship of Wu Zixu is caused by people’s fear of floods in the south of the Yangtze River and their admiration for Wu Zixu’s loyalty and filial piety.This paper presents the distribution of historical sites of Wu Zixu from the pre-Qin days to the Qing Dynasty chronologically,and tries to explore the spiritual connotation of traditional Chinese culture in the historical sites of Wu Zixu in respect of advocating heroes and respecting loyalty and filial piety.
