The Omni-Americans:New Perspectives on Black Experience and American Culture is the masterpiece of Albert Murray,an American black writer and critic.In this book Murray expresses his views on American culture,black identity and black art style.Murray argues that African-Americans have developed a special art style that is indigenous to the United States:the blues idiom,which enhances the U.S.Negro experience of life,makes an important contribution to American culture and forms the American idiomatic identity that is represented as Mulatto cultural identity.Each of the black writers or black intellectuals can use the blues idiom to interpret the American culture and the human existence itself,and then create more significant aesthetic achievements.
