This paper elaborates the economic performance of China’s coatings industry and the performance of China’s powder coatings industry in the“13^(th) Five-Year Plan”period,analyzes the technological progress in powder coatings,raw materials,and powder manufacturing equipment in the past five years,and puts forward the shortcomings that need to be solved for highquality development of the powder coating industry.It is of certain guiding significance to industry development.
