摘要
本文主要介绍了民国时期中国文艺界围绕比亚兹莱进行的论战及其对该时期装帧设计的影响。比亚兹莱中国化的过程大致经历了萌芽、勃兴和衰退三个阶段,反映了民国时期思想激进的知识分子紧随社会变迁的观念演进。在各种思潮的交流碰撞中,尽管存在着明显的分歧与误读,但是它们有助于砥砺各家尽其所能地借鉴和改造比亚兹莱的艺术风格,从而创作出大量精彩的装帧作品。
This paper focuses on the debate around Aubrey Beardsley in the Chinese literary and art circles during the Republic of China era and its impact on the binding design of the era. The localization process of Beardsley in China roughly went through three stages: germination, flourishing, and decline, reflecting the evolution of ideas of the radical intellectuals in the Republic of China era who followed the social changes. Despite the obvious differences and misinterpretations, the exchange and collision of various schools of thought helped each school of thought to borrow and transform Beardsley’s artistic style to the best of its ability, thus creating a large number of wonderful binding works.
