Ethical Issues in Neural Intervention

神经科学的迅速发展,使得大脑黑箱的秘密被逐渐打开,关于意识问题的争论也从哲学领域转移到了科学领域。受益于此,人们开始研究个体大脑与行为之间的密切关系,各类神经干预途径逐渐成为可能。然而,因神经干预技术的限制,其风险的不确定性和道德争议逐渐成为了社会关注的焦点。文章论述了神经干预中的安全性、知情同意、隐私保护和自主性等问题。在脑科学研究和技术应用中,应理解“是”与“应该”的关系,在想干什么和应该遵守什么之间有所为、有所不为。

With the rapid development of neuroscience,the secrets of the black box of the brain have been gradually opened,and the debate about consciousness has shifted from the palace of philosophy to the field of science.As a result,people began to study the close relationship between the individual brain and its behavior,and various neural interventions became possible.However,due to the limitations of neural intervention technology,the uncertainty of its risks and moral disputes has gradually become the focus of social attentions.This paper discusses the issues of privacy protection,informed consent,autonomy and security in neural intervention.The article points out that in brain science research and relevant technology application,we should understand the relationship between“to be”and“ought”,and obey the basic ethical rules between what you want to do and what you should do.
