The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is one of the four famous literary works in China,which fully shows the position of the works in the history of Chinese literature.In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms,whether it is a loyal hero or a cunning villain,its image portrayal is penetrating.As a controversial character in this work,Cao Cao is known as a traitor in troubled times,which also highlights the complexity of the character.This paper analyzes the image of Cao Cao from a unique perspective,so as to provide reference for the connotation of the literary work"Romance of the Three Kingdoms".
