Relevant research shows that junior middle school students are not as strong as primary school students in English knowledge learning,and lack of self-confidence in learning,which leads to the failure of English teaching.Teachers should make a good connection between junior middle school English teaching and primary school English teaching,help students quickly and efficiently transition from primary school to junior middle school,and lay a solid foundation for higher level English learning.Based on the new curriculum standards,this paper explores the cohesion strategy of English teaching in primary and secondary schools,aiming to provide reference for English teaching.
