The application of inquiry teaching method in senior middle school English reading teaching can give full play to students'subjectivity,effectively stimulate students'interest in English reading,and improve students'English reading level.Based on the analysis of the current situation of senior middle school students'English reading,this paper discusses the application significance and application strategies of inquiry learning in senior middle school English reading teaching,so as to improve students'initiative and initiative in English reading learning and enhance students'English core competence.
