The new curriculum standard clearly points out that teacher should combine the teaching content with the real life,create a good living teaching atmosphere,and let the students better master the knowledge and skills of biology.This paper discusses the life oriented teaching strategy of senior middle school biology based on core competence from the following aspects:paying attention to the life oriented introduction of new courses,paying attention to the creation of life oriented teaching situation,paying attention to the solution of life oriented problems,paying attention to the development of life oriented experiments,and paying attention to the design of life oriented homework.
