台湾地区心理学的过去与现状

Retrospect and prospect of psychology in Taiwan

目的:本研究回顾近代台湾地区心理学的发展历史,因台湾地区专业发展的历史分析,可有助于了解当前困局与未来挑战。由于历经日本殖民统治及两岸分治,台湾地区心理学更早走上了西化与量化指标的道路。但是,量化的大学教师评鉴系统是否能改善心理学的教学及研究水平?又是否确保了毕业生的质量水平?方法:本研究采内容分析法,就历史资料、研究文献、各统计处、各心理系所网页等进行资料搜集,计算台湾地区当前的心理学系、学会、期刊数目、教师年著作发表篇数等。结果:台湾地区自1928年心理学肇始至今,主要可区分为3个发展阶段:(1)肇始;(2)成长;(3)过度扩张。台湾地区现有160所大专院校,在心理学相关专业计有30个学士班、32个硕士班、9个博士班;一本专业心理学期刊是自1958年开始发行的中华心理学刊;时至今日,心理学专业的学会主要有9个,专业学术期刊主要有10种。台湾地区各心理学系所专任教师近5年、近10年人年均发表篇数。结论:现代心理学的发展在台湾地区比中国大陆较早,较快,专业期刊较多。重点介绍了台湾地区大学心理学专业情况,专业教学,学生,教师情况;心理学专业学会,专业期刊,论文发表状况等。

Objective:The study of domain development helps us to learn more about the future challenges and opportunities.Therefore,this article reviews the recent history of psychology in Taiwan.Due to the Japanese occupation and the cross-strait relations at the end of 1949,psychology in Taiwan embarked on the road of westernization and quantitative indicators earlier.However,has current teacher evaluation systems improve the quality of teaching and research conducted? Has the quality of psychology graduates been ensured? Methods:This research adopted content analysis method,collected data through the literatures,historical documents,and web pages of Statistics Department of the Education Ministry,Science and Technology Ministry,etc.,including the number of professional societies,journals of psychology,and the publications percapita calculated to find the performance of psychology in Taiwan.Results:The results of the study found that since 1929,the development phases of psychology in Taiwan could be divided into three stages:(1) Early initiation,(2)growth,(3)over-expansion.There were currently 160 colleges and universities in Taiwan,with 30 bachelor’s,32 master’s,and 9 doctoral programs in psychology majors.The first specialist journal in the field,Chinese Journal of Psychology,was founded in 1958,and currently there were 9 psychology societies,and 10 psychology journals.The number of articles published annually by psychology faculty in the past 5 years,and past 10 years were calculated.Conclusion:The development of modern psychology in Taiwan is earlier than that in mainland,and there are more professional periodicals.This paper mainly introduces the situation of psychology major,teaching,students and teachers in Universities in Taiwan,as well as the professional associations,journals and papers published.
