Translation,Argument and Fusion:A Probe into the Motif under the Background of the Interaction between Chinese and Foreign Theories

将母题的引介和接受视为一个知识生产过程,由译介、传播深入到理解的层面,围绕中外学者聚焦的三个基本问题进行逐层探析。母题这一外来术语及相关理论为中国民俗学研究提供了重要的资源和参照,而对概念本身的预设框架保持警惕,对其进行重新界定或结合其他术语进行创新,在限定条件下开展谨慎探讨,汲取他国理论之长,搭建符合中国本土的学术话语体系,可视为中国学者在母题本土化历程中探索出的融通之道。

This paper regards the introduction and acceptance of Motif as a production process of knowledge.From translation and communication to understanding,this paper makes a layer-by-layer analysis on three ba⁃sic problems focused by Chinese and foreign scholars.The foreign term motif and related theories provide im⁃portant resources and references for the study of Chinese folklore.And in the process of localization of the motif in China,it could be viewed as a way of fusion to be alert to the presupposition frame of the concept itself,redefine it or innovate it in combination with other terms,make a rigorous study under the limited conditions,draw on the strengths of other countries’theories,and build an academic discourse system suitable for China.
