PDCA循环管理模式用于预防住院患者跌倒的效果观察

Effect of PDCA cycle management on reducing the falls of hospitalized patients

目的观察质量管理工具(PDCA)循环管理模式用于预防住院患者跌倒的效果。方法选取某院住院患者81 092例,将实施PDCA循环管理模式前的住院患者设为对照组(38 620例),实施PDCA循环管理模式后的住院患者设为观察组(42 472例)。两组均给予常规护理,观察组在此基础上依据PDCA循环管理工具分析得出的患者跌倒原因制定具体的整改措施,给予实施。比较两组患者跌倒发生率,以及实施PDCA前后护士、患者对防跌倒措施的知晓率。结果观察组跌倒发生率为0.03%,明显低于对照组0.08%;实施PDCA循环管理模式后,护士及患者对防跌倒措施的知晓率均明显提高(P<0.01)。结论应用PDCA循环管理模式可有效预防住院患者跌倒的发生,提高护理质量。

Objective To observe the effect of PDCA cycle management on reducing the falls in hospitalized patients.Methods A total of 81092 patients hospitalized in a hospital were selected as the study objects,of which 38620 cases hospitalized before the implementation of PDCA cycle management were set as the Control Group and 42472 hospitalized after the implementation of PDCA cycle management were set as the Observation Group.Both groups were given routine nursing,and the Observation Group additionally received the specific corrective measures formulated after the reasons for the falls have been obtained through the analysis with PDCAmanagement tool.The incidence of the falls between the two groups,and the nurses'and patients'awareness of the fall preventive measures before and after the PDCA implementation was compared.Results The incidence of falls in the Observation Group was 0.03%,which was significantly lower than that in the Control Group(0.08%).After the implementation of PDCA cycle management mode,the nurses'and patients'awareness of the fall preventive measures has all been significantly increased(P<0.01).Conclusion The application of PDCA cycle management can effectively reduce the occurrence of falls and improve the nursing quality.
