小板纤恙螨的研究进展

Advances in research on Leptotrombidium scutellare

小板纤恙螨是恙虫病的重要传播媒介之一,还被怀疑是肾综合出血热的潜在传播媒介之一。结合迄今为止的研究文献,本文从小板纤恙螨的发现和命名、形态特征、生活史及行为习性、媒介地位的确立、分布和生态、与疾病关系、染色体核型、以及其他方面的研究对小板纤恙螨的研究现状进行了综述。

As an independent species of chigger mites(trombiculid mites),Leptotrombidium scutellare is one of the six main vectors of scrub typhus in China,and it is also suspected of being one of the potential vectors of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome.L.scutellare has been found in more than 15 provinces of China and several other countries in Asia.Rodents and other small mammals are the most common hosts of L.scutellare.To date,more than 40 host species of L.scutellare have been identified.Based on an examination of the literature,this article reviews advances in research on L.scutellare,including its discovery and nomenclature,morphological features,life cycle and behavior habits,vector status,distribution and ecology,relationship to disease,chromosome karyotype,and other aspects.This article provides a further scientific basis for prevention of scrub typhus and other diseases.
