As the key technology of 5G R16,the 3GPP standard evolution route of IAB(Integrated Access and Backhaul)technology has always attracted attention.Combining the project research status of IAB technology by the 3GPP wireless access network working group and the system architecture working group,and from the IAB architecture,IAB security,L2 design and enhancements to the NR physical layer specification and other aspects of the technical performance,this paper comprehensively analyses the evolution of IAB technology and grasps the development direction of IAB.
