Nature,Society and Psychology:An Ecological Study of The New Yorker Stories

近年来,美国短篇小说家安·贝蒂的作品不断被译介到国内,相关研究逐渐展开。总体而言,国内学界对贝蒂的研究大多囿于极简主义和女性主义等理论视野,研究视角和研究对象均相对有限。文章从自然、社会以及精神三个维度对贝蒂的《〈纽约客〉故事集》进行生态主义解读,探析此短篇小说集所展现的“婴儿潮”历史背景下人与自然、人与社会以及人与自身疏离异化的社会图景。

In recent years,Ann Beattie’s short stories have been widely read and studied in China.However,the dometic scholars mainly conduct research from the perspectives of minimalism and feminism.This paper offers an ecological interpretation of The New Yorker Stories from three dimensions,i.e.nature,society and psychology,and explores the alienation world between man and nature,man and society,as well as man and himself in the historical context of“Baby Boom”generation.
