英语民谣与河州花儿的叙事特征和修辞手法的程式分析

A Comparative Study on Narrative Features and Rhetorical Formulas of English Ballads and Hezhou Hua’er

英语民谣是一种以叙事为主的民间口头文学。河州花儿是流传于中国西北地区的一种古老的民间歌谣。对比分析二者的叙事特征并且运用口头程式理论比较二者常用的修辞程式,昭示英语民谣和河州花儿具有不同的“气质”,既为人们的传唱提供了便利,也形成了各自程式化的结构,方便人们研究和创作。

The English ballad is a type of narrative oral folk literature,while Hezhou Hua’er is an old form of folk songs which gets popular in northwest China.The article compares the narrative features of the two,analyzes their rhetorical formulas by using oral-formulaic theory,and points out that their different qualities can contribute to being sung by the people;what’s more,their respective formulaic structures make for the study and creating new works as well.
