The Enlightenment of Linear Space as Urban Landscape in High-density Environment——Case Studies of Highline Park and Cheonggyecheon Stream in Seoul

随着我国城市化高速发展,城市中公共场所呈现出碎片化和个体化形态。在日趋高密度化发展的城市环境中,线性空间为都市人群聚集的公共场所提供了新的可能性。其连续和动态的空间特征对开展步行体验式的休闲娱乐活动具备潜在的空间优势与开发契机。本文通过案例分析,探讨城市中处于闲置状态的线性空间如何通过可持续设计手法进行改造,升级为城市景观,以此激发公共场所活力,为提升高密度栖居环境的宜居性提供有益参考。

With the rapid development of Chinese urbanization,public places in metropolis have shown fragmented and individualized spatial form.In high-density urban environment,linear space provides new possibilities for public places.Its continuous and dynamic spatial form has potential spatial advantages and development opportunities for recreational activities.Through case studies,this paper discusses how the unutilized linear space can be transformed into a new urban landscape through sustainable design,so as to stimulate the vitality of public places and provide useful reference for the improvement of the livability in high-density living environment.
