摘要 骨关节炎(OA)是一种最普遍的与年龄相关的关节疾病,以慢性炎症、进行性关节软骨破坏和软骨下骨硬化为特征。骨关节炎的发病机制尚不明确,导致缺乏有效的预防和治疗方法,目前保守治疗并不能改善疾病预后,而手术治疗费用高昂,患者承受痛苦较大。环状RNA(circRNAs)是一类存在于真核生物的非编码RNA,参与调节基因表达,近年来研究发现它们在各种疾病中发挥着重要作用,成为新的研究热点,而它们是否参与骨骼系统疾病的病理过程却鲜有研究。本篇综述中,我们简要概述,并总结目前circRNAs在OA发生发展中以及治疗方面的作用和病理意义,以期为OA的治疗提供理论基础及新的靶点和新的治疗方法。 Osteoarthritis(OA)is one of the most common age-related joint diseases,characterized by chronic inflammation,progressive articular cartilage destruction,and subchondral bone sclerosis.The pathogenesis of osteoarthritis is still unclear,leading to the lack of effective prevention and treatment methods.Nowadays,conservative treatment cannot improve the prognosis of the disease,and the surgical treatment costs are very high,meanwhile patients suffer great pain.Circular RNA(circRNAs)is one kind of non-coding RNAs which exists in eukaryotes,involved in regulating gene expression.In recent years,studies found that circRNAs plays an important role in a variety of diseases,and it has become a new hotspot of research.However,few studies have been done whether it is involved in the pathological process of skeletal system disease.In order to provide a theoretical basis for the treatment of OA and new targets,this review summarizes new therapeutic methods,biological characteristics,differential expression in OA,and role in the development of osteoarthritis,as well as the current circRNAs'role in occurrence and development of OA,OA treatment and pathological significance.
