摘要
晚清宣统年间的《图画日报》,作为近代唯一日报形式画报,在追求宪政发达意识下启聋发聪,通过"上海社会之现象""营业写真""时事新闻画"栏目及图绘小说《续海上繁华梦》的图文叙述,批判电影本土放映的"垢秽化"、由"破狭邪物"变成"狭邪物"的"停滞化"、相较改良新剧的"去启蒙化",把电影塑造成"预备立宪时代"窒塞民智的同谋者。因《图画日报》的宪制理念误读,电影作为"立宪障碍物"被污名化,实际成为中国启蒙话语的牺牲品。
Picture Daily in the Xuantong period of the Late Qing Dynasty pursued modern constitutionalism and spread the concept of enlightenment. It criticized the defilement, stagnation and de-enlightenment in the local screening of Late Qing films through the pictures and text descriptions of four columns: "Phenomena of Shanghai Society", "Business Photo", "Current Affairs News Paintings", and "Drawing Social Novels". It shaped the Late Qing film into an accomplice to the foolishness of the people in the preparatory constitutional era. Because of the misreading of the constitutional idea by Picture Daily, the Late Qing film was stigmatized as a constitutional obstacle, and actually became a victim of Chinese enlightenment discourse.
