Design and Simulation of the Data Transmission Scheme in TACAN System

摘要 为充分利用塔康信道的频谱资源,基于现有信号格式特点与系统要求,通过在脉冲序列中添加数据脉冲的方式实现信标与机载设备之间的双向数据通信。在不影响系统测角与测距功能的前提下,对数据脉冲的数据格式与调制方式进行了设计,并通过计算和仿真从信息速率、信号频谱与误码率等方面对方案的可行性进行了验证。经仿真表明,设计的数据传输方案中数据脉冲与原脉冲序列的频谱兼容性较好,在典型塔康信道中可实现小于10-5的低误码率的2.4kbps数据通信。 In order to make full use of the spectrum resources of TACAN channel,based on the characteristics of existing signal formats and system requirements,two-way data communication between beacon and airborne equipment was realized by adding data pulses to the pulse sequence.Without affecting the function of angle measurement and distance measurement,the data format and modulation mode of data pulse were designed,and the feasibility of the scheme was verified through calculation and simulation from the aspects of information rate,signal spectrum and BER.The simulation results show that the data transmission scheme designed in this paper has a good spectrum compatibility with the original pulse sequence,and a data communication of 2.4 kbps with a low bit error rate of less than 10-5 was realized in typical TACAN channel.
