药物的主要作用是防治疾病、保障健康、延缓生命。临床上为提高疗效,缩短病程,往往采取联合用药,若联合用药不当,不仅给病人造成经济上的浪费,也会对人体造成不良反应,危害健康,带来难以弥补的损失,这种现象在基层医院尤为突出。因此,必须明确合理用药的意义、必要性及应用原则,方可做到科学配伍,趋利避害。
