民国时期岭南华侨的家国情怀——基于对抗战前后伍氏家族侨批的解读

Home and Country Feelings of Overseas Chinese in Lingnan during the Republic of China——Focus on the Wu family's Overseas Letters and Remittance before and after the Second World War

侨批作为近代中国社会特有的一种书信形式,承载着旅外华侨沟通讯息、供养亲属、捐助家国等社会功能,反映了普通华侨的心路历程。旅美的伍氏子弟侨批中也大多表达对亲人的牵挂眷恋和对侨乡的地方文化认同。而在抗日战争爆发后,伍氏家族华侨对祖国的文化认同在援助国内抗战与重建的过程中达到高潮。

As a unique form in modern Chinese society,overseas Chinese letters and remittances fulfilled the social functions of overseas Chinese to communicate,support relatives,and donate to their hometown and country,reflecting the mentality of ordinary overseas Chinese.Most of the Wu family members who resided in the United States also expressed their homesickness for their relatives and their local cultural identity with the hometowns of the overseas Chinese.After the outbreak of the Second World War,the cultural identity of the Wu family with their motherland reached a climax through assisting the domestic war of resistance and reconstruction.
