Between Space and Time:The Origin and Development of"Gan Giant"

赣巨人及其传说至今仍在赣南大地上广为流传,特别在安远县,深入民间。对于这一起源于《山海经》的神秘存在,学界观点林林总总,不一而足。研究以文献资料为基石,以田野作业中的口头叙事资料为辅,从时间和空间两个系统进行综合阐述,梳理赣巨人的历史演进与地域分布,对其源流做一考证。

"Gan Giant"and its legend is still widely spread in southern Jiangxi and deep-rooted in the folk.For this mysterious existence,which originated from the Classic of Mountains and Seas,there are various academic opinions.The author tries to make a comprehensive exposition from two systems of time and space on the basis of previous scholars'research with oral narrative materials in field work to sort out the historical evolution and regional distribution of"Gan Giant"and make a textual research on its origin.
