Investigation and Analysis of the Use of Main Public Spaces in the Changhe Old Street Historic District

分析了长河老街历史街区的社区属性和特点,采用扬·盖尔的"公共空间-公共生活调研法"对街区内主要公共空间的使用情况进行了初步调查研究,指出了存在的问题,提出了促进其有效使用的设计建议,希望能够活化公共空间,丰富公共生活,实现社区发展的可持续性。

This paper analyzes the community character and nature of Changhe old street historic district in Hangzhou,uses Jan Gehl’s public space&public life survey to conduct a preliminary investigation and study on the use of main public spaces in the district,points out the problems and puts forward the design suggestions,hoping to activate public space,enrich public life and realize the sustainability of community development.
