Objective To analyze the effect of incentive nursing on permanent colostomy after operation of rectal cancer. Methods From May 2018 to June 2019,100 patients with rectal cancer treated in Gaotang County People’s Hospital were selected as the observation objects, and divided into observation group and control group with 50 cases in each group according to random number table method. The observation group was given incentive nursing, while the control group was given routine nursing. The disease cognition level(reasonable diet, regular defecation, complications observation, stoma skin care, fecal bag cleaning),self-care ability(self responsibility,self-care knowledge, self skills,self-concept)were observed and compared between the two groups, and the quality of daily life of patients between the two groups was evaluated by quality of life assessment scale(SF-36). Results The each score of life quality, each score of disease cognitive level, each and total score of self-care ability of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences above all were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of incentive nursing in postoperative nursing management of rectal cancer could effectively improve the patients’ cognitive level of disease,self-care ability and quality of life. The clinical effect was better, which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
