Endocytosis and exocytosis participate in the uptake and secretion of platelet-related substances and play an important role in the process of platelet hemostasis and thrombosis. Recent studies have found that vesicle-soluble NSF attachment protein receptors, v-SNAREs, are highly conserved in mammalian cells, and especially play a key role in endocytosis and exocytosis. This review focuses on the role and mechanism of v-SNAREs in the pathophysiological process of platelets, as well as the effects on thrombosis, coronary heart disease and other related diseases, in order to provide new perspective for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
