Cross-border integration of national culture and online game culture is not only a popular trend,but also a symbol of the formation of a new cultural industry chain.Combining the profound artistic features of Chu costumes with modern online games,this paper focuses on the application status and main forms of Chu costumes in modern online games through the investigation and analysis of a large number of online games with Chu cultural background.It can be seen from the research that Chu costumes is widely used in modern online games,but it is not rigorous.At the same time,there are some problems such as single expression technique and superficial application form.How to inherit traditional culture effectively and correctly on the premise of meeting the aesthetics of modern players is a problem that must be paid attention to in the development of modern online games.
