Chinese classical poems and essays embody the thoughts and wisdom of sages and literati in all ages,as well as the spiritual character of the Chinese nation.As the essence of Chinese traditional culture,ancient poetry and prose with its irreplaceable spiritual power improves students'Chinese literacy,plays a unique educational function and realizes the fundamental task of"strengthening moral education and cultivating people".Through in-depth exploration of ideological and political elements contained in ancient poetry and prose,Chinese teachers in high vocational colleges guide students to establish and stick to the correct national and cultural views,so as to realize educational functions of ancient poetry and prose in emotional,moral and political education.
