摘要
形态群(Morphogroup)研究以底栖有孔虫壳体形态、缠绕方式、房室数量为模型基础,将形态特征与相对生活位置和摄食方式等生态习性联系起来,对底栖有孔虫进行分类组合,恢复古生态环境。由于这种方法克服了分类学差异,可以应用于不同地质年代和海洋环境,三十多年来被大量学者广泛用于古生态、古环境及古环境事件研究,对古生代、中生代古环境研究具有重要意义。据前人的形态群研究,本文综述了过去的主要进展,主要讨论了三个不同时代、不同海区的形态群模型,以及形态群与营养物质关系的相关研究中可能存在的问题,并展望了形态群研究在较老地层中进行古环境重建的应用潜力。
Morphogroup study based on test form,mode of coiling,the number of chambers and linked the classification and the ecology of benthic foraminifera,such as the living position and feeding strategy.The method has been used to reconstruct the palaeoecological environment of the Paleozoic or Mesozoic.Morphogroup can overcome taxonomic differences,provide ecological explanation for the benthic foraminifera assemblages in different geological ages and different regions,especially for the relatively old strata.During the research of the past 30 years,morphogroup has been widely used by many researchers to interpret palaeoecology,palaeoenvironment and the study of palaeoenvi-ronmental events.Based on the previous morphogroup researches,the paper summarized three relatively complete morphogroup modes of different ages and areas,and discussed the relationship between morphogroup and nutrients,in addition to the possible problems in the morphogroup study.Finally,the morphogroup method is prospected to benfit the future palaeoecological and palaeoenvironmental study for the Paleozoic and Mesozoic.
