The Role of Education in the Theory and Practice of Sus⁃tainable Development

现状要求我们必须走可持续发展之路,然而目前人们的可持续发展意识薄弱,阻碍了可持续发展的步伐。教育在可持续发展理论与实践中处于十分重要的地位,对公众进行可持续发展教育,使公众的可持续发展观念得到普及和深入势在必行。该文就可持续发展理论与实践中的教育成分,分家庭教育、学校教育和社会教育三个方面,分别论述了如何对公众进行可持续发展的教育。

The current situation requires us to take the road of sustainable development.However,the weak awareness of sustainable development hinders the pace of sustainable development.Education plays an important role in the theory and practice of sustainable development.It is imperative to educate the public on sustainable development so as to popularize and deepen the concept of sustainable development.This paper discusses how to educate the public on sustainable development from three aspects:family education,school education and social education.
