畜牧兽医工作已从原本基础的阉割、诊疗、牲畜防疫检疫以及安全监管逐渐向更为综合社会服务形式发展,为畜牧业生产前、生产中及生产后各个环节均提供更为完善配套的服务,畜牧业社会化服务体系的建设对于畜牧业农村经济发展速度的加快和社会主义新农村的建设都有重要的促进作用。农村畜牧兽医公共服务体系是目前农村畜牧业发展健康壮大的基础,也是确保农民畜牧工作有序进行的关键,对于整体畜牧产业发展水平的提升及畜牧市场环境的稳定促进均有重要作用。

Animal husbandry and veterinary work has gradually developed from the basic castration,diagnosis and treatment,animal quarantine and safety supervision to a more comprehensive form of social services,for the animal husbandry production before,during and after the production of each link to provide a more complete set of services,the construction of socialized service system of animal husbandry plays an important role in accelerating the development of rural economy of animal husbandry and the construction of new socialist countryside.The public service system of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in rural areas is the foundation for the healthy development of animal husbandry in rural areas at present,and is also the key to ensure that the work of farmers'animal husbandry is carried out in an orderly manner,it plays an important role in improving the development level of animal husbandry industry and promoting the stability of animal husbandry market environment.
