A Study on Agricultural Development of Hexi in Han Dynasty

居延汉简等西北汉简是研究汉代河西农业开发问题的新材料。汉政府经营河西期间,实施了一系列举措,如设置郡县、移民实边、开边屯田、兴修水利以及保护生态,有力地促进了河西汉塞农业的发展。河西汉塞农业开发是成就汉代河西经济繁荣乃至西北边疆稳定的根本条件。

The northwest Han bamboo slips, such as Juyan Han bamboo slips, are new materials to study the agricultural development of Hexi in Han Dynasty. During the period when the Han government operated Hexi, it carried out a series of measures, such as setting up counties and counties, emigrating to Shibian, opening up fields,building water conservancy and protecting ecology, which promoted the development of Hansai agriculture in Hexi. The agricultural development of Hexi Hansai is the basic condition to achieve the economic prosperity of Hexi and even the stability of northwest frontier in Han Dynasty.
