The occurrence of infectious diseases in mutton sheep seriously threatens the normal growth of sheep.Some infectious diseases have the characteristics of rapid onset,short course of disease,high fatality rate and wide spread.In order to ensure the safety of mutton sheep breeding within the jurisdiction,grass-roots animal husbandry and veterinarians are required to continuously strengthen the epidemiological investigation of various infectious diseases,grasp the current status of the main infectious diseases,and guide farmers to strengthen breeding based on the transformation of traditional breeding models.Adjust the management plan,build a complete breeding management plan,and strengthen the diagnosis,prevention and control of infectious diseases of mutton sheep.In order to enhance farmer's awareness of disease prevention,this article discusses the infection process,prevention and control process of a common mutton sheep infectious disease based on the current status of infectious diseases in mutton sheep in Caoxian county,Shandong province.
