Fighting for the discourse power is an important feature of the new era.In recent years,the lack of counselors’academic discourse power has aroused great concern.Such factors as status identification,forms of knowledge and features of their work limit their development in the academic field,which leads to weakness in their academic discourse power.The counselors’professional development brings about both opportunities and challenges to the construction of their academic discourse power,points out the direction for their career development and gives them a sense of professional belonging.
