摘要
在国际学术交流中,专业英语听力是一种基本能力。文章以浙江大学化学工程与生物工程学院制药工艺学课程为例,介绍了将美国耶鲁大学和麻省理工学院的三门相关MOOC的部分音频和文字材料引入教学的实践。这些材料用于学生课外学习,同时教师会进行课堂听力测试,以期快速提高学生的专业英语听力水平。结果表明,学生的专业英语听力水平在短时间内有了较大提高。
The listening comprehension of academic English is a basic ability in international academic exchange.In order to rapidly enhance the students’academic English listening comprehension,the MOOC resources was used in the teaching process of Pharmaceutical Technology.We selected parts of audio materials with transcripts from three MOOC courses provided by Yale University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology as extracurricular materials,and through class test to prod their learning.The results showed that the students’academic English listening comprehension was rapidly improved within a few months.
