The exploration and practice of Oral History:A perspective of old professors in Peking Union Medical College and Hospital(PUMCH)

口述历史作为一种大众参与书写历史的重要手段,近年来在诸多领域被广泛应用。随着技术的进步,口述历史的记录方式也从文字记录、声音记录发展到影像记录。医学专家口述历史,其主要价值是提供医学史料,以个体参与者的角度讲述医学发展中的历史事件,进而丰富医学史内容。中国医学科学院北京协和医院在迎接建院百年之际,启动老专家口述历史项目,探索医院党建、文化建设和新时代思想教育工作的新模式。本文从项目背景、具体实践、成果转化和伦理问题等方面,对开展老专家口述历史工作进行思考和总结。

Oral History is an important means of public participation in constructing history.With the development of technology,the recording way of oral history has also developed from text record and sound record to image record.The main valve of Oral History of old medical professors is to provide medical historical materials,to narrate the events in the development of medicine from the perspective of individual participants,and to enrich the content of medical history.As one of the oldest hospitals in China,PUMCH launched an oral history project before its centennial celebration,trying to explore a new path to preserve,inherit and rebuild culture.This article summarizes the practice of the oral history project of PUMCH from the aspects of background information,specific practice,achievement presentation and ethical issue,to provide experience to other similar institutions.
