《洛阳伽蓝记》载魏昌寺与魏昌尼寺之辨析

A Study of Weichang Temple and Weichangni Temple in the Luoyang Qielan Ji Luoyang Qielan Ji

北魏杨衒之撰著的《洛阳伽蓝记》以都城洛阳著名佛寺的兴废沿革为题,勾勒出一幅绚丽多彩的佛国风情画,其中,魏昌寺与魏昌尼寺被后人认为是同一座佛寺。解读《洛阳伽蓝记》《水经注》《西征记》等相关文献的记载,与考古学资料相互印证,发现魏昌寺与魏昌尼寺并非同一佛寺,实为相距不远、在不同里坊内的2座佛寺。

CThe Weichang Temple and the Weichangni Temple recorded in the Luoyang Qielan Ji (A Record of Buddhist monasteries in Luoyang) by Yang Xuanzhi of the Northern Wei Dynasty are considered as the same temple.However,based on an examination of Luoyang Qielan Ji,Notes on Book of Waterways (Shui Jing Zhu),Xizheng Ji and other relevant documents as well as archaeological data,the author argues that WeiChang Temple and Weichangni Temple were two different temples which were not far away and located in different block wards of Northern Wei Luoyang.
