Objective To discuss the effect of minimally invasive decaying technique on the pain degree and filler shedding rate of patients with dental caries and evaluate its practical value. Methods A total of 79 patients with dental caries were divided into control group(36 cases)and experimental group(43 cases)according to random numerical table. The control group was treated with conventional high-speed dental drill, and the experimental group was treated with minimally invasive decaying technique. The numerical rating scale(NRS)score before and after treatment, occurrence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate after 12 months of treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After 12 months of treatment, the NRS score of the two groupswas lower than that before treatment, and the NRS score (1.06±0.25) points of the experimental group was lowerthan (2.42±0.47) points of the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidenceof adverse reactions 2.33% of the experimental group was lower than 16.67% of the control group, and recurrencerate 4.65% was lower than 25.00% of the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive decaying technique shows affirmative efficacy for patients with dental caries, which can effectively reduce the pain of patients, reduce the incidence of adverse events such as filler falling offwith high safety, which is worthy of further study.
