Objective:To analyze the effects of meteorological factors(altitude(atmospheric pressure),temperature, humidity)on the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods:A total of 1411 patients from RA Chinese medicine data center were selected to compare the distribution of TCM syndromes in different temperature zones, humidity zones and altitude zones.Results:①RA patients living in warm temperate zone were the most[606 patients(42.95%)],and the difference in syndrome distribution of RA patients in warm temperate zone, middle temperate zone and subtropical zone was statistically significant(P<0.05).②RA living in semi-humid area were the most patients[(813 patients(57.62%)],the difference in syndrome distribution of RA patients in semi-humid areas, humid areas and arid areas was statistically significant(P<0.05).③RA patients living in low altitude areas were the most[1272 patients(90.15%)],the difference in the distribution of syndromes in RA patients in low-and mid-altitude areas was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Meteorological factors such as temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity can affect the syndromes distribution of RA.
