论深度翻译在我国民族传统体育文化外译中的必要性

A Study of the Necessity of Thick Translation in the Translatio n of Chinese National Traditional Sports Culture

我国民族传统体育历史悠久,起源于不同区域、不同民族的农耕、狩猎、军事、娱乐和宗教等活动,蕴藏有丰富的人文思想和哲理内涵。在民族传统体育的对外译介中,充分表达其民族性、思想性的背景信息和文化内容,将使得博大精深的中华文化借助民族传统体育这个鲜活载体得到更为广泛的传播。由于民族传统体育术语用词精练、言简意长,常用的直译、音译、意译等方法无法将其文化信息充分表达出来,为此该文从不同角度论述了深度翻译在我国民族传统体育文化外译中的必要性,以期为这方面研究和应用提供新的思考。

Chinese national traditional sports have a long history,originated from different activities such as farming,hunting,military,entertainment and religion in different regions and races,which contains rich human thoughts and philosophical connotations.In the translation and introduction of Chinese national traditional sports,the full expression of its national and ideological background information and cultural content will enable the extensive and profound Chinese culture to be more widely spread.Due to that national traditional sports terms impart deep meaning with simplest words,literal translation,transliteration,free translation and other methods cannot fully express their cultural information.Therefore,this paper discusses the necessity of thick translation in the translation of traditional national sports culture in China from different perspectives,in order to provide new thinking for further researches and applications in this aspect.
