As a living fossil of traditional Chinese folk crafts,Yuhang oil paper umbrella uses exquisite materials and exquisite craftsmanship,expressing the extreme harmony between human and nature.From the origin of Yuhang oil paper umbrella,this paper analyzes its development status and existing problems.Meanwhile,the authors explored how to use modern design methods,fully absorb its craftsmanship and aesthetic ideas,and extend new design elements and design concepts from the perspective of the production process and aesthetic value of oil paper umbrellas,so as to better apply Yuhang oil paper umbrellas in modern interior design.
